Among them, heavy-duty connectors generally have four connection methods:

1. Threaded connection method:

A connection method often used by some electrical connectors with larger contacts and working in strong vibration environments. This connection method can be equipped with a fuse to prevent loosening after the connection is completed. This connection method is reliable to use, but the connection and disconnection speed is slow.

2. Bayonet connection method:

It is a reliable and rapid connection and separation method. Most electrical connectors with snap-on connection methods have a visual display of correct connection and locking, which can be observed from the small hole on the side of the electrical connector connection nut.

3. Plug-in connection method:

It is a multi-purpose connection method. When connecting and disconnecting, the plug and socket of the electrical connector usually move in a reciprocating linear motion, without twisting and rotating, and only a small working space is needed to complete the connection and disconnection. Common plug-in connections have two structures: ball bearings or pins. Because this connection form has no mechanical labor-saving mechanism, once mis-insertion occurs, the mechanical resistance increases significantly and can be discovered in time.
